Q: WHAT IS BURN VIDEO?

A. Burn Video is a solution to every smart phone owner's dilemma; precious memories recorded on your phone, taking up space and never being viewed again. Burn Video allows you to create HD DVD's directly from your smart phone or tablet. Just download the free app, upload your pictures and videos to the app, customize a title for your DVD and have your memories delivered to your door in just a few days.

You order when you want and as many DVD's as you want; we don't have any contracts or commitments, so you control when you want to create a custom DVD from your phone. We think they make great keepsake DVD's of birthdays, holidays, vacations and even just day-to-day growth of that little bundle of joy!

Q: HOW MUCH DOES BURN VIDEO COST?

A. It's just $5.99 per custom-labeled HD DVD. If you decide you want to order additional Burn Video DVD's for family and friends, or just a few more copies for yourself, you will pay just $5.99 per additional custom-labeled HD DVD. And as always, shipping is FREE!

Q: HOW DO I GET MY VIDEOS IN HD?

A. Your cell phone records in Hi-Definition, or 1080p. If your phone is not automatically recording in HD, you simply change your settings to HD record. That's it. Your videos will be recorded and sent to you on an HD DVD by Burn Video.

Q: WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE FOR USING YOUR APP SO THAT MY ORDER GOES SMOOTHLY?

A. Please try the following things to make the ordering process go smoothly:
1. Be sure you have a strong wifi connection, as the app won't work without it.

2. When you upload videos, click on 3-4 at a time, let them upload completely, then click on 3-4 more, etc. This way they don't get bottle-necked with many trying to upload at once.

3. You should see a status bar at the top moving, showing the progress of the uploads and you can see the percent upload on the bottom of the screen. It could take up to 15 minutes for a full order to load, as most files are 1080p HD and are large.

4. Once the videos load to 100%, you can then click the green pencil to add captions to play at the bottom of each video or picture, you can move them into a specific order you want them in. You can also add a title to the front of the DVD with some cool emojis! Click Done to finish your order.

Q: WHAT IS A MEDIA SPACE?

A. A media space refers to media, either videos or pictures, from your smart phone, tablet, iPad, or personal computer. One media space is equivalent to about 1 minute of HD video or one ultra-high resolution picture in the app. Assuming you use all media spaces, you can upload up to an hour of video clips or 50 pictures per HD DVD.

Our website holds larger files, which is great for iMovies or older home movies or camera videos you want to put over onto DVD. Just plug in your device and add your files to our website. 

Q: WHAT DEVICES CAN RUN BURN VIDEO?

A. The app is available in the Apple App Store for the iPhone, iPod, and iPad and is available on Google Play for Android devices. You can also go to www.burnvideo.net on your personal computer or laptop and use our services to preserve videos and pictures that are saved on your desktop, computer, flash drive, zip drives, etc.

Q: DO I HAVE TO BE ON WI-FI FOR THE APP TO WORK?

A. Yes. Uploading HD video uses large amounts of data and it would cost a fortune to use a data plan from your provider! If you don't have a strong Wi-Fi connection, the app won't work.

Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY VIDEOS TO UPLOAD TO THE APP?

A. When using the app or uploading from your personal computer, the media files upload immediately when you select it, so once you choose your 50 media spaces and submit your order, the process is complete. It could take up to 15 minutes or so for all of your files to load, especially if they are 1080p, so be sure you have a good wifi connection!

Q: CAN I UPLOAD VIDEOS STORED ON MY LAPTOP OR PERSONAL COMPUTER?

A: Yes! Many of us have stored videos on our computer to free up space on our phones. Just create an account on the website, www.burnvideo.net, and log in while on your personal computer or laptop. Using the website allows you to access your hard drive, zip drives, memory sticks, Dropbox, iCloud, and the like. 

Q: I STARTED AN ORDER ON THE WEBSITE AND LOGGED OUT. WHEN I LOGGED BACK IN, MY FILES WERE SAVED! WHAT HAPPENED?

A. Unfortunately, we don't save partial orders. When you are ready, you must start and complete your order in one setting. You will click Add/Delete on each circle, add all of your media files and then continue on with your order until it prompts you to pay. Then you are done!

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY BURN VIDEO TO ARRIVE?

A. We will process your Burn Video within 2-3 days of your media being uploaded. We ask that you allow 8-10 days for shipping with USPS.

Q: I ORDERED A DVD TWO WEEKS AGO AND WOULD LIKE ANOTHER ONE. HOW WOULD I DO THIS?

A: If you want to order additional DVD's, click on "Order History" and you'll see previous orders; click "Reburn" on the DVD that you'd like another copy of. Keep in mind, we don't keep your files longer than 30 days, so please order them as soon as you can. Remember, shipping is always free! 

Q: MY CREDIT CARD EXPIRED, HOW DO I UPDATE THIS INFORMATION?

A: In the app, click on "My Account", then "Payment information". Here you can update your credit card information or use PayPal if you choose. While on the website, click the arrow by your name, click "Update Payment Information" to update payment information.

Q: IS THIS APP A SUBSCRIPTION OR DO I HAVE TO ORDER EVERY MONTH?

A. No. You are not signed up for a subscription or any commitments! You order when you want as often as you'd like. You never have any fees, just pay for the DVD's you order. And shipping is always FREE!

Q: HOW DO I GET MY VIDEOS AND PICTURES IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER?

A. Once you upload all of your videos and pictures, hold down the "3 small lines" next to your files and move them into the order in which you want them to be in. 

Q: WHEN I PLAY MY BURN VIDEO, I ONLY SEE VIDEO STRAIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE TV; IT DOESN'T COVER THE ENTIRE TELEVISION SCREEN. WHY IS IT LIKE THIS? 

A. If your video is vertical on your television screen then you've recorded with your phone in a vertical position. Unfortunately no company can manipulate this. In order to have your video play on your entire screen, remember to record with your phone in the horizontal position. I know, we all have to retrain ourselves!
